A parade for everyone! An opportunity for all kids to
participate even if they haven’t made their costume.
Parents get a photo of your kids on the stage and
they will be given a small gift for participating.

Character representation
Contestant limit for each category will be 15 people / groups
Contestants are encouraged to take on the persona of their favorite superhero, comic-book manga character, alter-ego, cosplay character, arch-nemesis. Whatever fandom genre resonates with you.
All costumes and props must be at least 75% made from new or repurposed materials, by the entrant. Found/modified parts or props are allowed, though they must not comprise more than 25% of the whole costume, and must be disclosed at time of judging. (e.g.: shoes that were painted or covered, tights or simple gloves, a purchased undershirt or pants that were modified in some way, are all types of items that may be permitted, as long as 75% of your total costume is hand-made by you.) — if you’re unsure, ask the coordinator.
No nudity. No top or bottom cleavage. Rogue Comic Con is a family friendly event.
No profanity, political or religious statements, including messages via signs or clothing. Not following these guidelines may lead to disqualification.
Costumes cannot endorse any form of real hate group.
Costume cannot depict, and cannot itself, be in violation of any law.
No functional or sharp-edged props or weapons are allowed at Comic Con. All costume props must conform to state and federal law. Replica projectile costume props must be rendered inoperable and covered with brightly-colored caps.
Sign-Ups
Kids & Family/Group
Sign-ups will begin online the week of Comic Con. On Saturday, May 17th, you will have to check-in with the Comic Con Information table 1pm - 230pm to confirm that you will be participating.
If there are spots still available, sign-up on the day of will be 230pm- 3pm for Kids & Family/Group First come, first serve.
Adults
Sign-ups will begin online the week of Comic Con. On May Sunday, May 18th you will have to check-in with the Comic Con Information table 1230pm - 2pm , to confirm that you will be participating.
If there are spots still available, sign-up on the day of will be 2pm-215pm for Adults. First come, first served.
Everyone
All contestants per category must arrive 15 minutes before your costume contest starts, at the Costume Contest Registration table. Expect each group to take around 20 minutes to compete, with no more than 60 seconds per contestant. Entrants will walk across the stage, show off to the crowd, get a photo taken then head to the judges to talk about your costume.
Contest winners will need to line up on the 'catwalk' at the end to receive awards and for photos.
